Diana Stugger
Diana joined the company 24 years ago. Diana’s integrity and professionalism ensure that your Vermont property ownership is a successful transition. She is hardworking, dedicated and insightful. Her objectivity and patience allow her to thoughtfully meet challenges and persevere as a problem solver. She has lived through her share of economic upheavals, recessions, booms, and changing real estate markets and understands that Vermont traditionally is a lifestyle investment.
“For many Vermont has always been as much a state of mind as a place to which you escape; get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life; gather with family and friends or just find your own space; challenge yourself; fulfill a dream; and, create the memories that nourish you through the years. No one can define the value of that lifestyle for anyone. I certainly can’t. But it is essential to appreciate its impact on us so whatever choices or changes are ahead –whether we’re buying, selling, renting or holding on - we will value our lives and times in Vermont. We will understand that whether we hold onto property for years and make some money when we sell, whether we manage to break even during a downturn, whether we have a loss during a recession, we take with us the moments and memories that matter.”
Diana is committed to supporting the unique relationship between real estate and the Vermont communities which it serves. She is a graduate of Emma Willard School and Mount Holyoke College. With her husband she owned and operated Carinthia Ski Area in Dover, Vermont. She has served on Town Planning Commissions, Selectboards, ZBA’s and Fire Districts in both Dover and Stratton and is the Stratton Town Moderator. She is a Past President and member of the Stratton Foundation. She is a Past President, Realtor of the Year and Board member of the local Realtor Board. She supports and remains active in the performing arts as an actor, stage director and Board member of both the Dorset Theatre Festival and Opera Theatre of Weston. She lives with her husband, Walter, and their two Irish Terriers on Stratton Mountain, where friends and family gather to enjoy life in Vermont.

John Lingley
John was drawn to the Stratton Resort in the 70’s as a ski bum, but left the area for a “real” job in the corporate world. After three years, it became clear to him that the setting there could not provide the beauty and lifestyle that he had found here in the mountains. Since returning to the Stratton area, John has owned two restaurants, an Inn and managed a condominium complex. Life changes brought him into the real estate business in 2000. The hospitality business and his knowledge of the Southern Vermont locale, have prepared him quite well to fulfill your real estate needs. If you call and he is not in the office, he likely can be found drumming up business on the golf course, ski slopes or other fun places his clients or customers might be.

Opportunity led to a lifestyle change, turning their Stratton resort home into a primary residence. Now, 14 years later, her son has graduated from Stratton Mountain School, an elite Ski and Snowboard Academy, and she is still here enjoying everything the area has to offer: year round recreation, the arts and the breathtaking, beautiful scenery.
